Good old school style NB. Has the look and feel of the older NB. Very stable and carefully constructed, reminding me of the older all-USA line I am familiar with from the past. (These are made in Indonesia.) For my expectations at this price range, these earn the 5 stars. But as could be expected, they are not quite as good as the current %100 US made New Balance which are much more costly. I keep these dry and store them in the box with the paper, so after wearing them some, they still look new. There is a note inside shoe-box explaining that if the shoes are exposed to moisture, there could be color migration (which makes sense with the black suede next to white material and white decorative stitching). The white is easy to stain or scuff. Consider a water-proofing spray for protection of appearance.The insole is removable. There is attention to detail in the styling- even the shoestrings have matching pink aglets at the end. The fit hugs the foot without squeezing, sizing is as expected.As far as the technical build, these are quite stable, supporting and comfortable. The mesh gives some airflow. They are not light. They are stable on flat ground with mild grid on sole and thick mid-sole. These are fine for moderate jogging, walking and general comfort.
